Happy Memorial Day 2022! Remember to fly your flags high and proudly today to honor those who have lost their lives while serving our country. Originally this day was called Decoration Day. We always decorate ourselves a little bit because we like that name for this day. Nelson is just learning to stay sitting, so a bandana was the only decoration he could manage! Stay safe today and enjoy time with your family and friends.

He’s already sitting still for a few seconds which is progress. Nelson is smart and also learns from his sisters.
Happy day, you all look wonderful. We usually say ‘have a meaningful Memorial day’, as for many of us it is not a ‘happy’ day. It was called “decoration day” because it was – and still is – a day to decorate the graves of the fallen.
It is kind of a sad day but it is also a happy day to celebrate what we do have with our family and friends.

He is very smart and catches on to things fast.
Great photo of the four of you! Zen is doing well with his sit; and I try to work on “down” a little here and there. But “stay” is a couple weeks away at least.
Amazingly, Nelson did down all on his own and sit had to be taught. Usually pups don’t like down as it is submissive.
