Keep your pups close, especially if they are scared of fireworks as some of us are. Don’t leave pets outside alone, and make sure they are wearing proper ID when you take them out.

We are all ready for it to be done now as the celebrations have been going on since Friday and we need some sleep. The home fireworks keep us up past midnight every night.

We wish more humans were sane and choosing to celebrate in safe and friendly ways.
We have not been able to get a good sleep since Friday when Fireworks started and go until after midnight. Hopefully tonight will be the last of that, but we doubt it.

I’m ready for it all to be over, too…I’m tired of all the noise, like you said, a lot of which continues past midnight.
Last night we had a bad storm followed by a few hours of fireworks. Bailie was so stressed and worn out from being stressed she actually surrendered and fell asleep.
