Yesterday was an absolute nightmare. We are all exhausted today and are also hoping they stop with the fireworks now. It was all day long and it is simply irritating. Mom hates all the noise, I am terrified, Madison is sort of afraid, Olivia doesn’t mind them but won’t go outside, and only Nelson seems to not care at all and goes about life as usual.
Here here too. Not quite as many nights as you had but we are exceptionally dry and very hot here. Last night’s boomers were just 2 doors us from us and kept on til 10:30. I hear DC had so many fireworks last night and with the heat and humidity the air quality today is code 3 orange Hugs cecilia

Such a stupid thing to do, wasting money, and bad for the environment. Mom had Nelson out for a walk and someone lit off a huge boom thing with smoke about 30 from them. Nelson was terrified. Mom really yelled at that guy.
We’re so over the fireworks that continue to boom every night. It’s frustrating and more than annoying. What is wrong with people? One day is bad enough but no, they have to keep it up, night after night. Growl…

Exactly, and last night it started up again. People have to be up early to work and who can sleep with all that noise. We say, ban fireworks and guns, the world would be a nicer place.

Tough way to get a sweet photo … at least it seems to be over for another year. Hopefully.
There will probably be some more the coming weekend, but that should be it.
