Today I’m contemplating a few things that are important to me. Some are more important than others I guess. Remember we emailed our letters to Santa last week? I got an email back from the North Pole on Friday and I’m kind of shaking in my furs. My sisters haven’t recieved any emails yet. Apparently, I am currently in danger of making the Naughty List. My sisters tell me no one has ever been on the Naughty List at our house, so I am pretty worried.
This is the email to me. Of course, I had to tell my mom. It seems she knows everything even if I don’t tell her. She says I recently started pushing my boundaries and that could be the problem. I’m still an awesome, well behaved boy for the most part but I’ve had a few slip ups in the past week or two. All I can do is try to be the best hound I can be for the coming days. I think Santa will recognize my efforts and I will make the Nice List.
For starters, I’m keeping watch over the Christmas tree so nothing happens to it. This might be a helpful task. I’m also going to share the Furballz more and try not to hoard them. The biggest thing is I will try to come inside when Mom calls me. I know I’ve been pushing that one, but mainly because of my secret excavation project. Since it has been shut down by Mom, I may as well come when called.
My other dilemma is my head furs. You all know I have the tousled look most of the time. I like it, and if I am at a dog show, it probably has to be styled that way. Our grooming table is my friend. I love to have my furs done, nails done, all the “spa” stuff. My sisters do not. It is odd as normally girls are more worried about their looks. Not at my house.
The other day, on my own, I styled my head furs differently. I see a lot of guys on TV and in the movies with their head furs combed off to one side. I’m contemplating wearing my head furs this way to attract more girls. This is my selfie with my new style. What do you all think? Love it, or leave it? I think it is rather sophisticated. My sisters laugh at me. It isn’t always easy being the only guy in the family I guess.

I think the side head furs look nice too. Mom isn’t so sure. I’m working extra hard to make sure I am on the nice list.

Compared to my friends who are my age, I’m way better behaved but I’ve been a bit mischievous lately. I’m working hard to get back on track.

I had a few other mishaps lately, but I’m on the straight and narrow now. This week I’m being extra good.
