It’s me, Nelson, and I’m lookin’ sharp for the week. Mom worked on my furs over the weekend, stripping out extra fur and clipping off some of the paw fluff I had grown. Every now and then a good grooming is necessary. Mom isn’t very good at it but she does her best. The word around the house is that she is contemplating baths. Hopefully it’s just a rumor as none of us want a bath. Do note bath is a four letter word.
I took my fresh self outside and strutted my stuff for a while the other evening. You never know when certain girls are watching either from a window or outside.
We had a lot of smoke, thank you, Canada, but we still spent some time outside on the weekend. Evenings are a bit cooler but it is still hot. I need to watch that my tongue doesn’t drag along the ground, it gets so long! Have a good week and try to stay cool!

Mama called us this morning and told us all about the smoke, she thought it was gone here in North MN yesterday…but it’s back and even worse today! Hopefully it will blow off soon!

Mom has mentioned what a bad time it is for your parents to be up north. It was bad down here on the weekend but nothing like up north! Hopefully the winds will change and send it back to where it came from.
Wow! You look terrific. We also laughed when you said word around the house is bath. HAHA. Funny comment BUT I hope you don’t have to get one. Mom hasn’t given any of us a bath in years as we have gone to the groomer. Now it may need to happen. I have been hosed off a few times from mud, though. I don’t mind that too much.
You are looking great there, Nelson, and I think your mama does a good job for your between spa day brushings. As for baths, well, they are over with pretty quickly, best to do it and get it out of the way.
One of these days it will happen. Mom dreads giving us baths and we don’t like them so it keeps getting put off.
