Memorial Day was originally named Decoration Day, so decorate to the max with a patriotic theme. Don’t be shy! Feel free to decorate yourself as well. I did, and it feels good!

Enjoy your day, Emma and family! I won’t be doing much as the weather isn’t conducive to outdoor activity. But that’s ok. My Dad served in the US Merchant Marine during WWII, and my brother served in the Coast Guard for most of his adult life. He’s retired now; but he and Dad will always be my heroes. Because of them and countless others, this is still the land of the free.
Our weather is not friendly either, almost 100 today, yuck. We are going to chill in the a/c. Thank you to your family for serving.
