Today I decided a holiday mishmash would work best for my post. There is nothing big going on at our house right now, only lots of smaller things. I’m posting a few of those things, like this shot of me with the huge polar bear inflatable we found on an evening walk. Most decorations are too close to houses and Mom won’t go way into other people’s yards, so our photo opportunities are limited. This big bear reminds me of Gramma’s Santa Bear.
Cat bro Bert is over the moon happy now that he has his own Advent Calendar. Gramma bought it for her kitty, but she doesn’t eat the treats at all. Since she knows Bert loves anything edible or not edible, she passed it on to him. Each door has three to five treats. Mom lets Bert fish them out on his own as he is doing in the photo. He has sort of demolished some of the calendar, but it belongs to him, so whatever he wants to do is fine with us.
I’m working on my jumbo Advent calendar. Some days there are two big treats behind the door! Sadly, Mom noticed that and took one away for later she says. Such a bummer, but I know she won’t eat it and will give it to us at some point. The treats in the jumbo calendar are super tasty!
Who likes Christmas cookies for dogs? I hope you do! I’ve been working with Ginger to come up with something tasty to bake and share with all of you next week. Emma hired Ginger the last Christmas she was with us and Ginger is full of great cookie ideas. If you ask me, you will be baking Christmas cookies for your own pup soon, so get your baking gear ready!
Finally, I leave you with one more jumbo inflatable photo for my holiday mishmash. It’s a jumbo Santa and Rudolph. Have you been out walking in the dark enjoying all the light and inflatable displays? We have so much fun seeing all the different holiday things out there.
My GBGV Life is joining Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard for their Nature Friday blog hop.
Hidey Ho what a magical Holiday mishmash. How brave you are to pose by the giant polar. BOL BOL.
I must tell my grandkitties to ask their pawrents to buy the an Advent calendar next year. Tortie, Mia would love working for her treats, however, Frisco the big ginger would prefer for Mia to work for HIS treats too.
Hugs Cecilia
Bert isn’t a fan of work, just eating, but Mom makes him work for it. I’m not scared of inflatables at all, Olivia might be a little bit. Happy Friday!
we love the giant inflatable bear and da rudolph… we would love to play with that two…
I have a funny feeling if you boys play with them, they would end up flat really fast, BOL!
I love the polar bear what a great picture
Mom says Katie should have posed with the polar bear since she looked like one herself. He was a very nice bear.
we love a good mish mash! Love the picture of your cat bro Bert. How funny!! We also loved the pictures yesterday of you sparkly clean! Have a great Friday. your friend Lilly
Sometimes a mishmash is fun. I’ll be going to the cleaners in a few days, ugh! Have a fun weekend!
I love your holiday mish mash!! It’s festive and fun!!!!!
Thank you, that was my plan π
Mismatches are fun! I love Ginger and can’t wait for your culinary skills. We have a 3 1/2 foot inflatable IN our house! It’s a Boston terrier and it kinda scares it when it deflates.Have a happy weekend! XOXO, Sparkle
I think cat bro Bert would kill an inflatable. We only have some swim inflatables that we never use…even in the summer. Have a fun weekend!
Can’t wait to bake doggie cookies for my little guy.
I bet you will like what I’m going to make, and your little fellow too!
Pretty lights
Thank you.
Such a fun post gang, so many wonderful sights to see!
Lots of stuff to cover this time of year!
We love the inflatable polar bear best of all. He is mega-cool (pun intended!)
LOL, good one. He is a super cool bear!
I love all those inflatable decorations. Our neighbor had a Santa in a airplane. It’s ever so cool.
Have a woof woof day and weekend. My best to your mom. β₯
There are some cute ones with cars and Christmas trees but we can’t get close enough for a photo.
What fabulous fun frolicking for a Friday! I can already smell the cookies from here, since you always bake up a storm!
I’m thinking they will turn out pretty tasty.
We need to put the boysβ glow collars and leashes on for a Christmas light looking walk too!
We wear them even if we are not looking at lights to be safe, but they are fun with all the other lights around.
That was some fun mish mash and darling Christmas doggie!
Thank you.
We love all the cool decorations going up around our neighborhood too!!
It makes evening walks more fun for a while.
Itβs looking like a beautiful Christmas at your place!
The decorations this year are crazy!
What a great mish mash! We have an inflatable dog in our front yard and the village is full of all different sizes! There is a bear down the street that is taller than the people’s house! The first time Cinnamon saw it, she was scared of it!
And she has a lighted collar for their night walks, now she saw your lighted leash, she thinks she should has one!
And cookies would be great, mom made us home made baked tuna cat treats 2 years ago…maybe we can talk her into that again!
Purrs
Marv, Jo Jo, Kozmo, Cinnamon and Barb
We sometimes have tuna treats for training. Dogs love tuna too. All the holiday decorations are real fun to see.
We haven’t seen any Christmas blow-ups on our walkies. Maybe we need to change up our route! Love your holiday mishmash!
This time of year our evening walks go all over the place so we can slowly cover the whole area where we live and see more decorations.
