Hey look, the boys are here to play with us! Mom said she had a fun surprise for us. Sunday afternoon Crush and Marvel came over with their mom to hang out for a while. We all had a lot of fun, but we were not as crazy as we usually are.
Olivia and Marvel got up close right away. They are the big friends in our little group. Olivia doesn’t mind kissing and telling. See her kissing Marvel on the nose?
Marvel seems to be maturing a bit, he will be one next month. It seems like he was just a tiny pup! He had some crazy moments but he wasn’t as interested in being wild like he usually is. Olivia did get him to do some running, though.
The two of them spent more time having nose to nose time than they did racing around. Usually Olivia looks long and lean, but Marvel makes her look shaggy and heavy.
I got in to one of the chase games for a few minutes. The weather was ideal for running but it’s not as fun to be the third wheel and Crush doesn’t play at all with any of us.
Since the boys are here, we feel like we really should take advantage of it and play. Olivia and Marvel did another lap of chase. See how Olivia is trying to look all tough?
After an hour or so of moms chit chatting and we pups playing and hanging out, it was time to break up the party. Despite the weather not being too hot, Olivia and Marvel were still pretty warm from their running. We’ll see Marvel and Crush again next weekend at dog sports, but we don’t get to play there. It’s a good thing we got to play today instead.

I love play dates! They break up the everyday ho-hum. I don’t race around like I used to, butI like the snacks and games mom brings out. Dad’s the photographer in our family, so everyone has memories to look back on.

Olivia’s got a boyfriend! I do too, Olivia, but he lives 3 hour drive away so I don’t get to see him much. We kiss a lot, too. XOX Lucy
Olivia and Marvel are really close, but usually she doesn’t kiss him.
So fun. It’s nice to have visitors visit from time to time. A play date.

I think it is the BGV nature to always be shaggy. Even after we are brushed, one shake and the shaggy is back.

We always enjoy playing with friend and meeting our friends around the neighborhood on walks.
Oh what wonderufl friends and your action shots are terrific! So nice meeting new friends. We walk the neighborhood after dinner and last night we met a rather playful Husky. But his kids were coming to capture him and he had mre running to do. Lots of neighborhood friends to greet us. Take care everyone
Husky dogs can be pretty wild and crazy, but they are nice.
