Nelson has claimed the big chair in the living room as his own. Mom doesn’t really care as she has never liked the chair and never sits in it. The little guy started playing on it, but now he has really claimed it for storing toys, watching what is going on in the house, and generally hanging out.
Our brother likes all the places he can rest his head and possibly take a nap. In the car he also rests his head on the armrest in the backseat.
If he looks over the back of the chair, it is a perfect spot to keep an eye on Mom when she is in the kitchen. He is a real mom’s boy, so he likes to know what Mom is up to all the time.
If we are ever missing any toys or antlers, we have to check behind the big cushion. Nelson likes to store his favorite possessions behind the cushion.
Mom spends a lot of time fluffing the big cushion on the big chair and putting all the toys and chews back in the toy place. Sometimes Nelson doesn’t mind as he just hangs out and seems to be quite comfy.
The little fellow isn’t always so sure about all the photos that are taken at our house. We thinks he wants some privacy when it comes to his toy and chew stash place. If you look closely, you can see the tail of a squirrel toy between his front paws, and under Furballz.
Nelson is one super chill and easy going guy. Most of the time, he really doesn’t care what Mom does as far as photos and putting away the toys he has been so busy hiding. He’s simply happy to have his own big chair to use whenever he would like. Bailie sometimes sits on the ottoman, but Madison and I rarely get in the big chair. It’s all yours, little brother!

That’s the perfect chair, Nelson. Plenty of room for you and lots of your toys!
I just love my chair. It is so big and I can do so many things with it. Mom says I’m weird but I love it.
the chir is a super good treasure chest, we totally agree :O)
You boys would love it too. Nice and big, plenty of space for me and my stuff.
Everyone needs their own special place – yours is a perfect chair!
Being the only guy, I need a spot away from my sisters.
Awww…what a sweet guy! Great photos!
Thank you. Everywhere I go people tell me how sweet I am, so I think it may be true.
Nelson, you have such an expressive face, and are so darned cute in YOUR big chair. It’s a neat place to stash your contraband. You are such a Mama’s boy! XOXO Sparkle
I do love my mommy, but my sisters are pretty attached as well.
A very chilled guy!
I am pretty mellow most of the time.
Nelson when you live with 4 females I think you deserve da big chair!! Also you look all kinds of handsome sitting there.
PS on the dog on my blog. He jumped onto the tool box on the back then there was a window to the back cab.
Hugs Cecilia
We just worry about people driving with dogs in the bed of pick ups. We still see it now and then and it makes us mad and sad. Glad he could get into the cab.
Good for you, Nelson. You have to claim your own space because being around all those girls you have to. They know now that you have your favorite spot and they will allow you to have that spot.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around and my best to your mom. β₯
They sometimes jump on the ottoman but that is about it. The rest is all mine.
WOW Nelson, that is a very comfy and multipurpose Throne you’ve got there!
It is really nice and just right for a guy like me!
In a house full of girls, i’m glad the not-so-little-any-more guy has a place to call his own.
Mom says it is a real “man’s” chair. I have to agree.
There’s just “sumthin” special about little boys. π
My big little boy follows me everywhere that he can, including into my recliner with me! Oooph! But I love it.
We are all attached to mom, but I have a bit different attachment than the girls.
That chair looks super comfy and convenient, enjoy Nelson!!
xoxo,
Sunny
I really use it a lot, and it is great for me!
I have to laugh, because cat Rosie, ever since we moved into this apartment has taken over the only armchair in which she sits at least 20 hours ! If I have guests nobody would dare to take her seat, and everybody sits on the sofas. I don’t care, she lives with me and I don’t use this chair. When the arm chair is really needed then she is offended and retires into my room on my bed.
Everyone claims their own spot, cats and dogs!
Looks like a comfy spot for both Nelson as well as his toy menagerie.
I can store a lot of stuff in my chair for sure.
